I transferred service to Verizon prepaid and my experience had been a nightmare! I transferred 2 lines, Verizon claims I canceled one of the lines. They supposedly ported one of the numbers but I still don’t have service. They keep saying I need to make a $50 payment but I paid $91 when I ordered service. I’ve called nearly 20 times and still no fix. This is ridiculous, do I need to move on to another provider?

Not enough information.  

How did you switch?  Online?  Store?

Did you have active service with your old carrier?  Only active lines can be ported so if service was not working, you have to resolve with your old carrier.  

Paid $91 for what?  Activation fee is usually $30-40, then taxes, then plan.  Do you have a receipt?

I don't think there is anctivation fee for prepaid
