My daughter was given a vx9100 from a friend of hers. This phone has not been active for sometime.
My daugher would like to give Verizon Wireless a try as a prepaid provider.
She wants no voice...lots of texts...
Can I activate it?
Can I port her old number?
Can I try it first before porting her old number?
How much does it cost to activate? I can see how much the montly service things cost...it seems I should be
able to do the .25 per minute and $20.00 unlimited text...does this make sense?

Yes the Env2 is prepay compatible Yes you can port her number (as long as it is portable) and you can wait to port the number as long as you keep it active on the current phone it is on. Normally there is a $25 activation fee, but I understand some channels like online and telesales are waiving it currently. Good luck
