Voicemail transcription prepaid

I have a prepaid plan and my voicemails do not get transcripted. I’ve called Verizon about this and they’ve said I’m supposed to be getting them transcripted and no one knows why it’s not happening. Could it have to do with Wifi calling?

Unless you has an iPhone, the visual voicemail feature isn't available for prepaid phones. The visual voicemail for iPhones is not the same system as the Verizon Visual Voicemail feature as the iPhone voicemail uses the Apple servers.

I do have an iPhone, and it’s brand new. I told all of this to the Verizon rep on the phone and they had no idea what the problem was.

Voicemail transcription isn't included in default iPhone voicemail feature. It requires a monthly subscription fee. Prepaid plans don't qualify for premium services and features with a monthly subscription fee. The iPhones on a prepaid plan only has the free iPhone Visual Voicemail feature.
