I think the the daily repaid plan are good, if you text alot you can get the $10.00 bundle for verison to verizon for $10.00 a month or the $20.00 unliminte text to any carrier for $20.00 a month an just add a litle extra for you want to talk. The rates are $15 - $29.99 = 30 days $30 - $74.99 = 90 days $75 - $99.99 = 180 days $100 or more = 365 days any unused time is carrierd over to the next month as long as you keep your phone active by putting money in you accout.

Honestly, the data-based plans are the best ones. Go with the 4g/month plan and you're only paying $40/month for unlimited talk/text and a bit of data just in case (ever get lost without a map? Lol).

I'm curious about which Verizon plan you are referencing. I don't think you will find ANY Share Everything plan which falls into this $40/month category you mention.
On the Share Everything plan, the MINIMUM monthly fee for a basic device with unlimited talk/text would be $30/month line access fee + $40/month for the talk/text and 500 MB of data for a total of $70/month + taxes/fees.
I think one of the pre-paid options would be a lower cost alternative, for example the $35/month with 500 minutes of talk or $50/month with unlimited talk.
Regardless, since you are responding to a post over 2 months old, I think it is likely they have already made their decision.
