Some can, some cannot - what particular phone are you asking about?

Customers can take any compatible postpay Feature Phones and activate it on Prepaid service:
- The account needs to be activated with a minimum initial balance of $15; other amounts ($30, $50, etc.) may also be used.
- 3G Multimedia devices that require a Data Bundle for postpay and 3G Smartphones cannot be activated on Prepaid service.
Hope this helps!

I believe that phone would be able to be used on a pre-paid account....you'll have to confirm with a Verizon rep to be sure, but I think that one would work.

Is the phone currently activated on another account in someone else's name? It would need to be deactivated on that account first, and I don't think you can get those minutes transferred. A Verizon employee or Pre-paid Customer Services can answer that better than I.(888) 294 - 6804.
Do you already have an account with Verizon? If not, you will need to set one up; you can do so with your own equipment.
