no voicemail notification

I am unable to figure out why I am not getting notified when I have a voicemail.  Any suggestions?

We can’t have you missing out on the notifications for your voicemail psioda05. When did the issue start? What make/model phone do you have?

I have not gotten notifications ever since I signed up for prepaid a few weeks ago.  I have tried updating my phone and tried chatting with a cust service rep but nothing.  I would love it if you could help!
