PREPAID PHONES
Your Welcome Suzy, I don't think it would be worth the high cost to have a smart phone on a pre paid account. I'll stay with my LG Accolade I'm very happy with it and has alot more features than my older pre paid phone had.
You would have to take phone in to your local store because the phone would have to be checked by a technician to see if it would work properly on Verizon wireless service.
You can visit our site at http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/storelocator/index.jsp to check for the nearest store to the area you are in.
