i renewed my 35$ plan by paying the monthly fee before the renewal date (09/29/2013). My balance is added, but my minutes are not added. I re-activated the phone as well. Will my minutes get added after 29th september?

If you run out of your minutes before your plan renewal date, and add a $35 card unfortunately it will not automatically restart your plan. The $35 will sit on your balance, and you will be charged .25c per minute for each additional minute over your 500 minute allotment. You would have to call customer service, they'd be able to restart your plan.
