Cannot call or text. Got temporary number and need it changed back.

I haven't been able to call or text for weeks after upgraded my plan. The newest person I talked to on live chat gave me a temporary phone number to help me troubleshoot and it won't let me talk to them again. I need my old phone number back it's important.
