Charitable texting

Using Verizon Pre-pay.  Apparently am restricted to 5 charitable texts per month (as in "text xxxxx to yyyyy to donate $zz to A Selected Charity").

Question:  Does "per month" mean per Calendar Month, or a 30-day (or so) span from the earliest donation?

Reason for asking:  I made 5 donations in Feb., but haven't been able to make any donations so far in March.

Thanks for your help.

If it says Per Month that would mean from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month, unless it says per 30 days, since there are more or less days per month. Call customer service at 1-888-294-6804 or *611 from your cell (That is a Free Call) for verification.

Thanks for the response, Minniehaha.  I tried making another contribution on March 1, but was rejected.  I've been waiting for 30 days to pass from the first donation, which will occur in a couple of days, which should help. If it goes past the 15th, it won't matter, as the phone coverage expires then.  I'm just trying to minimize the balance forfeited to VZW when the coverage expires.

I'd also e-mailed VZW support directly, and got an e-mail response from a VZW rep today.  If I understand correctly, it isn't VZW who limits the number of charitable texts, but the charity (or perhaps more correctly, the outfit running the collections for the charity - the Mobile Giving Foundation).  I suppose that further questions would be better directed towards them.

In any case, thanks again for your help.
