Customer service made me lose my promotion and didn't tell me it would happen

I signed up for prepaid plan on and got a plan, my bank was charged and got the first 6 digits of my phone # followed by xxxx for the last four. Then my phone would never activate. I finally called customer service and they fixed it. But THEN it rendered me ineligible for the "double your data" promotion because I had to call customer support.  No one told me that would happen, I even asked when they were helping me.  They said they'd monitor my account.... I've contacted Verizon several times by chat, and customer service. No one has fixed this problem.  They even made me prepay another $50 to my account and still did nothing. So now I have added funds and no remedy. Please help so I can either cancel my service or fix the promotion!
