Received an email from Verizon letting me know I can upgrade & the promotion. 
They suggested the app is best way & easier to complete upgrade order. Simply put I am absolutely shocked what a frustrating experience it has been! Verizon has failed at every point of the process. Hours on the phone speaking with reps. Not a single thing I was told actually happened and sometimes just was not true. Started the upgrade process on October 11th. It’s rhe 18th today and I finally completed the order, paperwork, payment etc just had to go pick up phone at the store which they guaranteed would be there to pick. Get there and the staff had no idea about it and did not have my phone or any details on when or how I would be getting the phone or what I needed to do.  It’s impressive the epic failure of the whole process and I’m left totally confused and just told I have to cal them again. 
 I really liked Verizon that’s why I’ve been with them for so long. Now I have no other choice but switch carriers. Ive been patient & try to be understanding during this process as I know most people would be very upset & taking out on the employees but they have been rude to me??  
There is literally nothing else I can do to figure this out other than switch carriers which I do not want to do. Very sad Verizon.

I'm sorry to hear that this upgrade has not been the exciting experience you deserve. When you go into your order details in the app is it showing store pick up or shipping? Did you receive a confirmation from the store that the order was ready?

The answer to your question is long & complicated. Short answer is I was told both. 
I’ll be done with this mess tomorrow as the call center  supervisor or manager guaranteed phone will be ready to be picked up. I’ve been told this twice however and not sure how it’s going to happen tomorrow. 
Upgrading process has been so  frustrating in too many ways.  Even still I know things happen and I’ve been patient & polite & understanding throughout.  The staff at store & call center have been deceptive & untrustworthy so easily. Employees blaming other employees & me. At times even rude. It unsettling how dramatically the level of trust they have lost. Ive been real happy with Verizon over the years & losing that trust is the worst part.
