Data allowed on bill and data used don't match

I just joined Verizon a couple of days ago with the $30/month prepaid plan for 500 MB. Now my account says I've used up all my data but my bill says I've used up 1 MB one day and .48 MB another day. That's all it has and that doesn't add up to 500. What am I missing here? Is there something I don't  know about?
