Recently I had a device (Jetpack) that I could not activate online. It also could not be activated at a Verizon store. Calling Verizon was a nightmare. This once customer responsive company has added an AI firewall. It is extremly difficult to get the AI Interface to connect you to a person. I am sure this is the intent of this AI interface but it is very frustrating. No way can the AI Interface handle this issue. Asking for a person or representative gets a response of "I don't understand" or "I need more information". We seem to be in the age of, in my opinion, overpaid, incompetent CEOs. as this trend is ubiquitous in the industry today. Once I finally got through, the agent solved my issue. Unfortunately this took two calls where I had to dod battle with the AI Firewall
