Hotspot 4s

I have a pre-paid plan.  I have Moto G phone.  I had no problem setting the phone as a hotspot and connecting.  Today I got my IPhone 4s and changed my account from the Moto to the Iphone.  I can set the 4s as hotspot and connect my computer to the phone but only have "limited" access so not getting to the internet.  So is there something else I need to do?  Is the Iphone just not capable of doing this?  Am I going to have to switch back to the Moto.  I am hard of hearing and the audio is really poor on the Moto.  I can hear the Iphone much better.  Thanks Roger

OK. Thanks for the information. Could not find a live person at that phone number. It did come back and say that I had zero data. So I tried accessing internet from phone and sure enough I could not. When I went into Verizon yesterday to have them switch phones I had 387mb of data. so I guess I lost that on the esn change. I am on auto billing an it should renew today. I'll see if I get my next 500 of data. I think then the Iphone will tether. We will see. Thanks again Roger
