Increase Data Issue - Simple fix but representatives are NO help

Purchased an Ellipsis Jetpack(hotspot) with 3gigs($60) of prepaid data - person selling me the device and plan told me that if for whatever reason I used that up really fast that I could pay the additional $30 to get 10 gigs for the month($90).  I don't want 13 gigs for one month I just want to pay the additional $30 to increase my data to the 10 gigs.  Is this that hard to understand??  Feeling mislead by the salesman on the phone and would like this sorted out Verizon.  -Russell Mock  Loyal Customer for 10+ years  russmocksyou@gmail.com aP
