We'd like to first thank Ann154 for the providing the correct answer. However, we'd like to share some additional information. As Ann154 mentioned, the iPhone 5s does have GSM capabilities when used globally, but we cannot guarantee that it will work on all networks due to differences in network technologies. We recommend contacting the service provider where you'll be using the phone to confirm compatibility.
