Is there way to backup text messages to cloud on prepaid?

I want to back my text messages up to my cloud account. I have a prepaid phone. I only have the option to back up contacts. Is there way to back up text message too?

It's my understanding that the only Verizon Cloud option for prepaid accounts is to back up contacts.  You might consider a text backup/restore app such as:
