Currently on a friends contract plan until may 2014. I would like to switch to prepaid but is it possible to keep my current number or would that penalize the friends contract? They are not closing the account as there are multi lines on it. I just want to get out of mine. Any information?
They would be assessed an Early Termination Fee, since you're in contract, if you kept the phone number.
