Paying double to switch from 3G to 4G!?!?!?

I just paid 45 dollars to renw my plan for my 3G phone TODAY. When I tried to switch to my 4G phone, it asked me to buy a NEW 45 dollar plan, that includes the exact same usage. WHY? I am completely unsatisfied with Verizon after what I had to go through today, JUST to unlock my account. I went through all that trouble only to find out that I can't switch phones without paying an additional 45 dollars. NO THANK YOU. I am extremely fed up with this scam of a company. I will no longer be continuing services with Verizon once my plan is up. RIP OFF!!!
