Is there a service difference between a Verizon prepaid plan and a regular Verizon account? I ask because while camping on the outskirts of a town, a friend with a regular Verizon account continually has full call, text and Internet access yet I don't with my prepaid plan. I have call service, intermittent text service and no Internet service.

Yes, for example the coverage area is smaller with prepaid services as they don't access partner carrier/extended network areas like postpaid services do
