Prepaid State to State

I have Verizon prepaid plan. If I travel out of state on vacation will my phone still work. The coverage map says I should have coverage where we are traveling too, but I wasn't sure if having prepaid plan would make a difference. In the past with other prepaid services, I have not had coverage.

I have a Verizon Prepaid plan and have never experienced this. In fact I was in several other states this past weekend and it worked the whole time. As long as the coverage is there, it will work.
