I purchased the prepaid cards from Staples and their store policy is that no one may return gift cards or prepaid cards. Verizon should allow customers to apply the balance of prepaid cards to their regular accounts OR make the prepaid cards noticeably different.

We do apologize, for what has happened. We certainly understand and appreciate your feedback, as it helps. It does state on the cards what they are specifically used for. Being that the cards were purchased at a 3rd party store, that is the store that would essentially be responsible. What the stores do is purchase the cards from us, and then sell them at their establishments. Do you have a prepaid account, in which these can be added?

So is there any solution to this? Yep got me too. I saw some cards that were clearly marked as prepaid only… and dodged those… but then just as I’m checking out, asked a clerk for f they had Verizon cards, who said oh sure we have Verizon gift cards- showed me one that SEEMED ok but in my joy (it looked totally different from other cards I’d seen) we/I missed the tiny “prepaid account”. So can’t apply it to my Verizon acct. GAHHHH. What options exist? Has anyone successfully sold one of these? Is there anything you can buy with it lol…I’m trying HARD to make lemonade out of a $100 LEMON. (For me at least)
