I bought a Moto G a couple weeks ago, and last night it mysteriously lost signal. I was unable to do anything on the phone, and the most recommended course of action was to use the factory reset ability. So I did that. However, after I did the reset, it is not asking me to activate the phone. However, when I try to activate the phone, it is telling me that the phone is locked and I have to return to the store I bought it from. Unfortunately, I am over the road driver, so that isn't a realistic possibility. On top of that, I am now without a cell phone, and out the remainder of my $60 time card that I added when I bought the phone. Please help!
You should have been able to reactivate the phone by dialing *228, option 1.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
