Gracie580, having a working device is of the utmost importance and help is here. It’s been a couple of days since this message was sent, are you still experiencing troubles? Since this has been happening, have you powered your phone off (taken SIM Card out) for at least 1-2 minutes, put SIM Card back in and power the phone on again? What is the make/model of your phone?

Hi TakendraW_VZW,

thank you for replying.I have an LG Verizon Android OS  4.4.2.,it worked fine until I changed my phone number.I did remove the battery for 5 minutes, but still no luck.It makes no sense. It's a relatively new phone and worked great.I hope the information I've provided answers your question.

Gracie580, being able to make and receive phone calls and text is a crucial piece to phone usage these days. We want to make sure that we get this up and running for you in no time. We appreciate the steps that you've completed on your own. When you removed the battery, did you also remove the SIM card from the device for a few minutes? If not, we would recommend on pulling the SIM card for a few minutes, put the SIM card back in the device, and power it back on. Once the device is back on, please try to place a phone call and send a text message. Please keep us posted.
