I am a prepaid Verizon customer and get monthly text stating "Thanks for you auto payment......." then the next day get one stating "Your monthly plan has been renewed.......".
How do I stop these?

Have you tried signing into your MyVerizon account online and changing your communication preferences?

I do not see a communication preference for the issue that I am having. I have the "USAGE" and "ACCOUNT" notifications turned on. The ACCOUNT notification states "Plan change confirmation and order status" which I would like to leave on. However, I turned it off and will see if this stops the text about my payment.

Everything is turned off under "Communications and Alerts" in my account. I received another monthly text from number 899000 "Free VZW MSG:" last night stating "Thanks for your auto payment..... How do I turn this off?
