Upgraded to new plan now no data connectivity

I contacted customer support to ask about getting on the new plan with 2gb of data with an extra 1gb with auto pay. They set it up so that I would go on the new plan on my next renewal date. Shortly after getting a text that my plan has changed I lost all data connectivity. I am now able to get and receive texts but nothing else as far as data goes. I contacted customer support again and they said it is a known issue with the new plan and they are working to resolve it. I have the 1st generation Moto G. Has anybody else had this problem?

Strangely I now have my data working now.
