I want to try Verizon for a month or two using the 'prepaid' and a hand me down phone to check their coverage. Does the 'Unlimited Talk & Text' only apply to calls or text to other Verizon numbers? In other words if I call my landline number or say an AT&T number from my Verizon prepaid service number am I going to get charged per minute assuming that I am not roaming? I can't see anything in the fine print that says otherwise other than "(with Verizon wireless customer)" whatever that means.

This sounds like an excellent way to check things out. Here is some more info on the prepay plans for you to look over http://www.verizonwireless.com/mobile-living/network-and-plans/verizon-prepaid-plans-faq/ The unlimited calling you had mentioned would be between any domestic number. International numbers may not apply
