Recently at 55th and Broadway in Quincy, IL and tried to place a call with my Verizon prepaid. Since this is a roaming area, I expected to get a voice prompt asking me to re-enter my 10 digit number, instead I received a voice prompt saying the number I dialed is not in service. Made no difference what number I dialed, I could never complete a call. The phone I was trying to dial was able to call my Verizon Prepaid phone and I could send/receive texts. Now what? I seemingly can't place a call anywhere my phone is showing roam, although I always could in the past.
