I just got a new pre-pay phone and activated it ok with my old number, now my hubby wants to use the old phone too! Can we have 2 lines on pre-pay with the same number?

Nope - if hubby wants to use the old phone, he needs to get his own number. You can't have 2 phones using the same number at the same time.
