supposed late fee not real

I really don’t understand how it’s possible that I have invoices stating that i paid my bill on the verizon app and they don’t have them somehow so i still owe? 

on my may-jun bill my bill was normal amount. on the next bill it states i have a past due amount for the entire bill as if i didn’t pay it. but in my payment statements online it states that i paid it. if i add the amounts together it adds up to the amount due 

on the next bill it states that it is still due. my bill was over 400$ now a couple months later i only realize because my partner removed themself off my phone plan which would have made my bill cheaper. but it didn’t. it charged me the entire amount and then the person on the phone had the nerve to tell me they don’t see the last payment my partner made. even tho it billed their bank account and there’s even statements on the invoice. 

they were no help and had the nerve to go over what we spoke about, as if they helped me at all. I want a refund. I demand a refund. i’m tired of people taking advantage of those who are unassuming. 

so my question is, how do i solve this if verizon is negligent in providing accurate information about my bill and payment statements? how can i get my refund and gtfo this phone plans
