last year i bought an iphone 4 through ebay and been using it with verizon prepaid ever since. recently i moved to kentucky in letcher county. and i can not get any service BUT i have good signal. there are ATT and Appalachian wireless towers (local CDMA service) around the area and CDMA works perfectly. i was wondering how i can get my service to work?

Verizon Wireless might roam on the local CDMA carrier, but I don't know if prepaid lines can roam on their partner carriers.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I personally think it is because you are a prepaid subscriber. If you were a post paid subscriber, the calls would go through. However, I do not know if you would or would not be charged an additional airtime charge. I have asked Verizon at a company store and they do not seem to know!
