I received one of those prepaid cards that you send out instead of sending a check. I can't use the card anywhere online. I can't transfer my funds. The customer service number listed lets me check my balance and that's it. This is ridiculous. Can someone please contact me about accessing the 145.46 that Verizon has owed me for 4 months now? How can I use this card to pay or withdraw the funds? Very frustrating , especially when it is money owed to me.

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with your prepaid Mastercard. We want to make sure you're able to access the funds in that card without any problems. Are you able to use the card physically to make purchases? What happens when you try to use the card? When you check the balance, does it show an actual balance on the card?

I can’t use my card ANYWHERE either. I’ve tried at all kinds of stores and online. Way to go Verizon!

Maybe the card is one of those "prepaid refill cards" only for paying for service on a Verizon prepaid phone or smartwatch plan? If you were supposed to get one of those disposable cards which can be used anywhere like a regular credit card instead, then someone messed up.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hi Bstockdale, thank you for reaching out with your card concern. Let's get more info on what's going on. What happens when you try to use your card? Are you getting an error? If so what does it say?

I received one also. I don’t want a prepaid Mastercard with all of the rules they have attached. I’d just like my money. The website doesn’t work, the phone number doesn’t allow you to talk to a person, Verizon has no accessibility features that can be used on their call center phone lines. I’d like to just know how to talk to a real person who can help me. Thank you
