2 factor authorization - cannot sign into Verizon.com because 2factor authorization text is never sent. It just spins. It has always worked until yesterday. I was on a long phone call with customer loyalty (which included sending me an 'aughorization to see my account' request). After that call, 2F authorization failed with my health care portal, and also fail with verizon.com on my macbook. Very frustrating.
I need customer support!

We hear you loud and clear. Being able to authenticate your account is extremely important. SInce 2-factor authentication does not work for you, we would recommend going to the nearest store where you will be able to authenticate with a photo ID. We will be more than happy to help.

Dear Verizon - went to the store twice!!! after two hours the first time, issue was solved... or was it? Four days later, same issue. Back to the store. No help offered. Told to call forcustomer service. After 45 ;minutes with level 1 'help' (repeating problem again and again, repeating my iphone/ipap/Macbook set ups), I was transferred to Level 2 help. Another 45 min of repeated explanation, with the last suggestion was to clear my browser history. As i tried to leave the call, the level 2 rep started to try a sell of computer protection.
Bottom line? I turned off 2-factor authentication via text on my macbook. Extremely disappointed.
Going to the store so I can authenticate with a photo id every time I want to sign on to Verizon.com is a ridiculous suggestion. It that what you were saying?????
