Asurion Experience - Removing All Business

After several years of having an average of 9 devices  with Asurion coverage along with Home Protect I am shutting down all plans with Asurion.

I have had to replace devices due to them not covering them.  I have  a family member with dementia and needless to say have had more than one lost device.   Some damaged.  And others that fall under reasons you would buy insurance.

I have 9 devices on my account and this year I have submitted a claim (the same claim) on one device, a month later same thing a claim (the same claim) on a different device and more recently a third different claim.  Out of all 3 of these - they all went through verification, they all had usage, and they all were cancelled without any level of correspondence or anything from Asurion.  

Why pay for this insurance if they don’t cover “Covered Events”.

ive cancelled all my Asurion plans except for two - those also will be cancelled soon.

Further each state has an Insurance Regulator- and complaints and details will be sent to them.  It’s all I can do - they don’t care / Verizon try’s but is unsuccessful at helping - so all I can do is pull my business from them and spend the $1,200 a year somewhere else.  

I encourage anyone who’s frustrated to do the same - that’s the only way they will want to try and provide customer service and fulfill their obligations.
