Call Filter app - can't authenticate device

VZW asked me to delete and reinstall my call filter in relation to a totally separate issue - which I've done.
However, on reinstalling it, whenever I hit get started with my cell phone number automatically filled in, I get thrown back after a minute or so to the landing page with the error banner at the bottom of the page saying "We couldn't authenticate your device, please try again later.". Needless to say, trying again later doesn't help.
Similarly, when I go to Manage Device->Call Filter web page on My Verizon, I can't turn the Call Filter button to "on" - it just reloads the page with it set to "off" all the time. I've tried different browsers and different devices.
I am using the same VZW device, my original iPhone 12 Pro Max - a VZW device.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes itโs up to date - Iโve triple checked this.
The especially weird thing is why the VZW website wonโt let me turn the Call Filter button to โOnโ under Manage Device ->Call Filterโฆ

Iโm having the same issue with call filter can you please help iโve been trying to sign in nobody a technical support for Verizon seem to know whatโs going on to fix the problem. This is the error message Iโm getting trying to log into Call Filter can someone please help?

JOSCLA35, Call Filter is a big help for my phone so I get you wanting to use it as well. Can you share more on what trouble you're having in the set up process?

Later is days ago.

I have the same problem! I am not the main number on my family account but the app automatically prefills "current account" with my phone number and then says it can't authenticate the device / to try again later.
I'm using an iphone 13 with the newest ios.
