What do i do?

I just bought a new phone  a few weeks ago and gave my old one to my son and had insurance put on all of our devices.  My son accidentally dropped it on the stairs and cracked the screen the next day ( the day we wenton vacation).  I talked to the Verizon agent  when we got home and we filed a claim.  It was denied (they said it was the wrong kind of insurance). He admitted to selling us the wrong insurance and changed the insurance and we tried again and got denied.  He made this mistake at least  once more.  Then we got the right insurance and waiting a few days.  I went to talk to him to see if he could talk to assurion and explain what happened.  He said  don't worry about it, his district manager and store manager said to list the damage date  as after the correct insurance was purchased.  He then proceeded to file a claim from his computer in the company store and set a false damage date. I informed him that I wasn't comfortable with this and that i don't like lying.  They excepted the claim but I didn't take the phone in to get repaired because I don't like lying or commit fraud.  Is there anything I can do to get the phone repaired (do I have to pay for it?) Can I get in trouble for his actions (by the way I recorded several of my conversations with him, with his knowledge).

Please help me.

Hello, 72dad, sorry to hear your son's phone has a cracked screen! What model phone is he currently using? You mentioned you added insurance to yoru devices. When was insurance added and what insurance were you able to add to your account?

If you are uncomfortable with the way the insurance was filed and therefore do not want to use it, then the only way to get the screen repaired is to pay for the repairs yourself.  A screen replacement is otherwise a very common job.
