I’m having a terrible time with Smart Family! My son has an iPhone 12 mini on the Just Kids plan. Smart family and the companion apps are downloaded and paired. Content filters are on. He’s trying to download an app that I want him to have. When he tries, it sends me a text saying he’s requesting permission and then linking to the app in the AppStore. There is nowhere at all to approve the app for him, just an opportunity for me to download the app instead! It’s the dumbest most frustrating thing. All the Verizon faqs have to do with allowing/blocking websites, not apps. Anyone have a solution for this? And/or know another better plan option for kids? I’ve about had it with smart family…

As a parent myself, I can definitely understand the added frustration that this would cause, shell1250. It's certainly important that your able to approve an application for your child, and then have them be able to download it. It certainly doesn't sound like this is working as intended. I've sent a private message so that we can gather some additional details and get this issue resolved.
