I constantly block, in which case she just spoofs another number or uses a voip number. Due to the ease of obtaining spoofed and voip numbers, blocking is useless.

You could try blocking texts from all unknown senders, but that would filter out some legitimate stuff too. Google Messages has "spam and blocked" section which you would use to check the filtered out texts for stuff that isn't spam.
