Unable to add child account

I am unable to add a child to the Verizon Smart Family App. I am able to follow all the instructions on how to add a child line up until it says press save button. The app just seems to stall on a spinning wheel when I hit save. I have deleted the app and reinstalled but is still has same error. Tried powering the phone off too. There is no help on Verizon site on how to troubleshoot this. Is anyone able to help?
