I just installed the Oreo update on my S7. Now my phone will ring, but it will not show me that a call is coming in, who it is, or allow me to answer it. I restarted it, rebooted it, started in safe mode, and wiped the cache. Still nothing...

NDCCLC,
That is very troubling, as being able to receive calls is crucial. We want to work together to come to a resolution for this. Is the issue isolated to inbound calls, or are you having problems with outbound calls as well?
You stated in your original post that one of your steps was to clear the cache. Have you tried force stopping you phone application? If not, you can do this by visiting Settings > Apps > Phone > Force Stop.
After you have completed this step, restart the device once more and attempt to make/receive a call. Does this help?

Thanks for the reply. It was any time the call screen should have been there that it was acting weird. Couldn't use touch tone, could dial out but not see on the screen that it was calling, etc. Sometime after your reply I forgot where I put the phone so I had my wife call it and when I found it, it was back to normal. Thanks for the recommendation on what to do, I'll try that if it happens again and will update.
