I Have Sent my Phone in 4 Times and they are having me send it in for # 5
They sent a NIB Phone last Time And I Activated it and with in 2 Hours it was Missing calls.
The Calls go to Voice mail after the 5th ring when I called and my Phone Does not Ring.
Until you hit power Button to Wake it up

ED05 has fixed all problems on the phone
my phone has been off the bharger for 19 hours moderate use Calling ,web,email,texting all day
Still have 80 % Battery and have not had Any Missed Calls or texts
VERIZON --PLEASE RELEASE ED05---OR GIVE US A GOOD REASON WHY YOU ARE NOT
I am STILL having problems with receiving calls after the ED05 update! I get maybe 30% of my calls and the rest go to voicemail. I was told this new update would fix the problem, but IT HASN'T! The battery life still is still horrible. I had full charge at 6:30 am and by 10 am I had to plug up to the charger. I can't use my phone unless I'm plugged in cause I have no battery life! I pay way too much money per month to not get to use my mobile phone while I'm mobile!!!
What am I supposed to do now? I did LOVE my fascinate, but after the 2.2 update, nothing but problems. I'm so frustrated I'm looking at AT&T, but I really DON"T want to switch. I want to stay with Verizon, but I can't handle the phone problems and I don't want another used one that's probably gonna have the same problem as the one I have now. I don't want to have to buy a new phone and even if I use an upgrade and get a 4G phone, I still have to pay money for it even with the upgrade. Help!!!
As you can see, above, I got Verizon to give me a Droid X2. I LOVED my Fascinate, but if it wasn't going to work....The Droid X2 is working beautifully. It took a while to get used to, the screen isn't as good, but it does have other nice qualities. I wasn't going to upgrade it to Gingerbread because of my Fascinate/Froyo experience but it was pushed to the phone and I had to let it upload. So far not seeing any problems. Only thing I notice is that "Swype" keeps switching to Spanish! LOL! That doesn't bother me since I'm getting all my calls!
Ok after 21 days without any missed calls My phone today started Missing Calls again
I missed 4 for sure and maybe more
I have not changed one thing on the phone since I have been running ed05 No apps anything
Phone has been running perfect Good Battery,no freeze up's No Issue's what so Ever
So this almost has to be a network Issue Hope this is just a Isolated Incident But Time will tell

Ok it was just a glitch restarted phone and it stopped and I have not missed any calls after this one instance
so I am a happy Camper
Guess I jumped the gun by getting a new phone! Oh well, I hope this really does fix everyone's Fascinate!
I have also been having issues with this with my Fascinate. I just got my 2nd one and I only got the phone June 5th. It is getting very frustrating!!
Yea, my wife and I love the look of the Fascinate and we loved the screen and fast processor....but we have way to many issues, missing calls, texts and IM's on it, freezes and force closes. I hope that we can get it swapped out for Charges as well.
Yep! Still missing calls. Done every stupid update, blah, blah, blah, *228, took battery out, etc..

I started getting missed phone calls AFTER receiving my 2nd phone, restoring all the back up, and then having customer service have me UPDATE my phone to the EDO5. I do not think ED05 is the entire fix for all the issues being discussed. My battery won't last half a day and I have my screen lock set to 15 seconds and my display to the lowest it will go. Wish I would have read forum before I just ordered a new battery as an extra.
Having same problem with new hotshot. Also seems to power down at random. Phone doesn't ring until after voicemail gets it, then get missed call. Every time. My wife and I have tested it many times. Shows no updates. Sounds like returning it does no good. Thanks
I just got my first 4GL phone, the Samsung Gallery III, and I keep having people telling me they tried to call me when I had my phone right with me. No ringing, no notification of a missed call. Getting bumbed out that I got this phone, or that I went to 4GL. Seems alot of ppl are having this problem, it's all over the web. And it seems there is no solution. Bummer!
Here's another for your count! Actually 2 for your count. My husband and I have been having the same problem for almost a month! Used as a business phone also so it is affecting my relations with my clients. We both have a HTC Rezound and I am heading over to the Verizon store this afternoon - see if any of there "guru's there know anything.
