I have 500mb for backupassistant plus - I only backup my contacts - have less than 100 contacts - not that much info. Backups are failing because I don't have enough room - telling me I have less than 2%. Had phone for awhile - nothing's changed - except two days ago I was playing around with backup and clicked on music (i.e. to backup my music) - a day later I realized I didn't have nearly enough room to backup the music so I unclicked the box in the backup settings - I think that is what screwed me up. Even though music is not checked, only contacts should be backing up - I have a feeling it's still trying to backup my music, even though I unchecked music, and that's why my backups are failing. question - how do I clear that so backups can resume with just my contacts? Thanks.

Dear Suejean,
Good morning. Ensuring your contacts are backed up is extremely important. I want to thank you for your efforts in trying to troubleshoot your Backup Assitant Plus. The information you have provided is very helpful in resolving your concerns.
When you backed up your music by accident, it used the remaining of your 500MB space allowance. Although, you unchecked the box to backup music going forward, the music that has already been backed up is still saved in your Backup Assistant Plus. I have great news! You have the option to log into your My Verizon account http://bit.ly/xB4iTc and delete the music that was backed up. This will clear some of the 500 MB that was taken.
Once you are signed into your My Verizon account online, scroll to the "I Want to" section and click on the "More Actions" link. Under the Media section, click on the "Manage and Store Media" link. This will then take you into the Backup Assistant Plus page where you can view all Media that was backed up. Click on Music and Sounds. All the music that was backed up will be displayed and you will have the option to check off each music file. Once you are done selecting the music you want to delete, you will see a trash can at the top of the page. This will delete the music that was backed up. I trust this information will help with your Backup Assistant Plus concerns. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank You,
