I recently got a refurbished replacement phone because my previous (brand new) Galaxy got stolen...I've only had the phone for a week and the battery on this one is draining a lot faster with not all the apps I previously had. When I got into Settings and Battery, it shows that media is the most battery usage. How is that possible when I haven't used any media and the apps I do use all day take less battery usage?

Good afternoon bryanbaker87.
I'm sorry to learn you're having problems with your replacement phone after only having it a week. In addition to the fact that your brand new phone had just been stolen. I understand this can be frustrating as well as confusing, especially if you used both phones the same way. Let's see what we can do to get your phone working as it should be!
Was your phone replaced by Asurion? If so, it will still be covered under their warranty so you can reach out to them at 888-881-2622, or online at http://bit.ly/T3945e
Meanwhile, you can try clearing the memory on your Galaxy S3 and then restart. You can find the steps to clear memory at the following link: http://bit.ly/U6bGeK This will not delete any applications or files saved on your phone.
I trust this information is helpful.
Thank you,
