Camera won't automatically separate pics from videos in the gallery

When i take pictures and videos they automatically get put in the same folder. Is there a way to set the camera to distinguish between folders . I would love to have my pics and videos automatically put in seperate folders

No. neither does my $500 cannon camera. However, unlike the camera, you are free to move them to their own folder on the phone. Not what you wanted to hear, but sorry, it's not a pc
