Thanks for the information everyone. After research, I was able to locate some useful information regarding the Car Dock application. When using this app, the 2.2 OS update is needed. If you continue to have issues with the phone or the application, further trouble-shooting will be needed to resolve your issue.

I know this may sound stupid and trivial, but the only reason I am asking is that I missed it... Your phone needs to be running 2.2 first, and then when you put the phone into the dock, the car dock app comes up, and there is a little speaker towards the bottom of the screen that will appear. You need to press the speaker button and then another message comes up about connecting it to your radio.
Does this appear? I would hit the exit button right past the screen because I wanted my home screen to appear rather than the app.
Like I said, I went right past it so I know about missing it....

I do get the message about needing to connect to speakers. However when I click ok the audio still does not come through my radio speakers. So I've turned my phone around and have the cables plugged into the phone itself and I can use it as a handsfree through my radio speakers.

I would call Verizon, they will warranty it and replace it.

That's funny, I called Tech Support, and I had a problem with my first dock, and they FedEx'ed me one. I had it in 2 days.
