Contact dialing question

So this is going to be one of those really dumb questions. Could someone tell me how to enter an extension after a phone number so the phone can dial it all, number and extension. Right now, when I try to do that I get an "invalid number " message, so I have to end up entering the extension manually.

I believe you need to put in a Pause after the number and before the extension.  While in the number field press "Sym" on bottom left of the keyboard which changes the keyboard from numbers to symbols. You will then find "( Pause(,) in the center of the new keyboard..
