Dropped calls

I changed to the fascinate a week ago and it is constantly dropping calls even at home where I have never had a problem with any of my other Verizon phones. Is the signal strength different than what the other phones have? I had the ally and never had issues. My kids phones don't drop calls at all and so I don't know if mine is just having temp issues or if I maybe need to get a different type of phone.

Go to settings/about phone/battery use

 Click on cell standby

 It will tell you time with out signal mine is at 10% and I am not having problems.

I have heard of bad phones that are in the 50-60% range and problems with calls.

If that is case I would call CS and talk to them you may have a bad phone.
