Every time I check my S3's dropdown menu, the Wifi icon is on (even if the wifi isn't actually connected!) I keep trying to switch it off but it turns itself back on, even if I enable Airplane mode. I thought that it might be doing something weird (other than switching on the wifi icon, maybe it's trying and somehow failing to turn on the actual wifi and that's draining the battery?), especially because my battery has been draining unusually quickly.
If it helps, I believe that I had a software update fairly recently and that may be related to the problem as well.
