How do I increase or delete items from my phones internal storage? When I try to download an App it says I have insufficient storage.
What does it show for available storage? SETTINGS | SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE , the SD card is listed on the top, and the internal storage is listed towards the bottom.

Go to the Market and choose My Apps, there you can see what you have installed; uninstall what you don't use until you make room for what you want now.

You can also go into task manager, click on the 2nd tab from the left at the top (Downloaded), and it will list all your installed apps, and you can see how much storage each of them is using. Mine is listing them by storage amounts, the most being first.
How many apps do you have installed? I can tell you that I have just over 100 installed, I have not moved ANY to the SD card, and I have 1.02 GB available on the internal phone storage.
I have seen other threads in the forum that have talked about the same issue, when their phone is showing more than a GB of space available, so maybe there is something else going on rather than storage space?

From this point, you can clear data from any of your apps. You will loose progress in games, so you may not want to clear those and you will have to redo settings for any app you do clear, but it could make a big difference. The biggest offenders that I have seen are the browser and facebook.

There are 3 types of memory on the Fascinate. Call up Task Manager and go to Storage to see what you are short on. You have Internal Phone storage, Personal Data and external SD Card. If it is the Internal Phone Storage you are short on you can shift most apps to store on the SD card. You can also go into your browser and go into settings and delete the Cache, history and even the cookies. It's good to do this occasionally. You can choose to store email, documents and downloads on internal memory or SD card. I would put everthing you can on the SD card since it is 16 times greater in capacity. Something is eating up that internal memory. I would delete apps as a last resort. It should take whole lot of apps to use up the memory. I did have a problem with Samsung Media Hub sucking up a whole lot of personal data memory. I cleared the cache for that and the problem was solved. Hope this helps you.
